Senior 3D Character Artist

As a Senior 3D Character Artist, you’ll be creating iconic heroes & characters for our games. Your work will channel the personality of the characters that are in the front and center of our gameplay. We believe strongly in creating exceptional characters with interesting backstories, and we want our players to feel like they truly know and identify with these heroes. You will be working closely with our art director and creative director on a mission to create unforgettable characters and worlds.


  • Create both the high resolution 3D sculpts as well as high performance low-poly in game assets

  • Create hand painted textures as well as materials

  • Collaborate with design, animation, and FX to iterate towards a coherent artistic vision for the game

  • Collaborate with engineers to refine assets to improve runtime performance of the game


  • 6+ years experience as a 3D character artist

  • Proficient using Maya (or equivalent), Zbrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop

  • Capable with both hand painted and rendered texturing skills

  • Great eye for light, shade, color, and detail

  • Strong grasp of form, structure, and silhouette in regards to modeling, sculpting, rigging, and deformations

  • Understanding of gameplay needs such as clarity & readability of environment and characters

  • Shipped multiple AAA products


  • Experience working on a MOBA, RTS, or game with an isometric camera angle
